Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Eng, Acoustics, Electrical or related with emphasis in audio/DSP
• Ability to design, prototype, verify and drive audio hardware systems
• Understanding of DSP, signals and systems, and audio systems design
• Understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics and transducers
• Understanding of mechanical and material acoustics
• Programming with scripting languages (MATLAB, Python)
• Effective communication in English
• Experience with acoustic measurements

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and implement audio products & acoustic solutions
• Demonstrate acoustical performance by prototyping and simulations
• Perform acoustic measurements and validate acoustical system performance
• Lead and co-operate with partners for high-quality execution
• Work closely with Audio software and DSP teams, as well as mechanical engineers, electronic engineers, and Industrial Design/CMF to optimize the acoustic performance
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, contributing insights to the technology strategy and product introductions
• Explore, design and prototype new acoustical technologies and audio features
