Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S is seeking a Power Supply Engineer to design power systems, provide load calculations, and support commissioning for railway projects in Copenhagen. You will ensure power interfaces meet safety and reliability standards, contributing to installation and testing readiness across multiple teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical/power engineering within infrastructure and a strong background in LV distribution, earthing/bonding, and protection coordination.

Qualifications

• Electrical/power engineering experience in rail or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of LV distribution, UPS, protection coordination, earthing/bonding.
• Ability to coordinate power dependencies across systems.
• Strong documentation discipline and electrical safety mindset.
• 5+ years in relevant power systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop/review load lists, power requirements and single-line diagrams.
• Coordinate power availability for equipment.
• Review supplier/subcontract electrical designs and readiness evidence.
• Support site surveys, commissioning and fault investigations.
• Escalate deviations affecting safety or compliance.
