Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd in Denmark is seeking Quantity Surveyors for a substation project. The role covers commercial and contractual ownership throughout the project lifecycle and interfacing with the Client Commercial/Contract Team.

You'll manage procurement of sub-contractors, conduct cost and risk analysis, review correspondence for contract-critical items, and provide project costing, margins and cashflow reports. Rotation and relocation are possible.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying and 5+ years' experience as a Project QS
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in the electrical/mechanical field.
• Ability to prioritise workload according to deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
• Enjoy working as part of a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.
• Interface Client Commercial/Contract Team.
• Project procurement including Sub-contractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis.
• Review all incoming correspondence to identify contractually critical items and initiate replies.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.
• Manage project change order procedures and costs with client.
