Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd in Denmark is seeking Quantity Surveyors at all levels to join a major substation project. The role focuses on commercial management, procurement of sub-contractors, and cost control with a multinational client base.

Ideal candidates hold a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying and have 5+ years of experience in project QS roles, particularly in civils or electrical/mechanical environments. Rotation options and accommodation are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Civils experience and exposure to electrical/mechanical projects.
• Experience as a Project QS on complex subsurface projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual requirements through the project lifecycle.
• Interface with Client Commercial/Contract Team.
• Procurement including Sub-contractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis.
• Review correspondence to identify contractually critical items and initiate replies.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin and cashflow reports.
• Manage change order procedures and costs with client.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a number of Quantity Surveyors to join Suir Engineering Ltd at all levels. This role will be based in Denmark on a substation project.

What you will be doing?

• Management and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.
• Responsibility for interface Client Commercial/Contract Team.
• Project Procurement including Sub-contractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis.
• Review all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and /or subcontractors, to identify contractually critical items and to initiate replies.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.
• Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with client.

Is this the job for me?

• Suitable Candidates must have a 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying and 5+ years’ experience working as a Project QS
