Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a substation project based in Fredericia, Denmark. The role involves developing and reviewing schematics and HV studies, as well as pre-commissioning and commissioning of GIS/AIS substations.

Candidates should have a third level degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of HV project experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Rotation and CPD opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Third level degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years' HV project experience.
• Experience in HV energy and renewables sectors.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
• Develop HV system studies including protection coordination, arc flash, voltage regulation, load flow and fault level reports.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of GIS and AIS substations.
• Complying with project safety requirements.
• Detailed design of LV/HV equipment and control/protection systems.
• Prepare tender and construction documentation and issue them.
• Monitor progress and issue progress reports.
• Coordinate with clients and design teams on technical issues.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate project engineering work.
