Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Manufacturing Readiness Engineer to bridge product development and production. You will ensure design changes and prototypes translate into reliable production builds, enabling fast, high-quality market introductions.

In this collaborative role, you will coordinate stakeholders across engineering, planning and manufacturing, identify risks early, and drive continuous improvement of prototype and industrialization processes. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment with an engineering background.
• Proven ability to coordinate projects, set priorities, and ensure follow-through.
• Understanding of production processes, BOMs, and product changes.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with PLM and SAP systems is advantageous.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central coordinator for prototype readiness activities with stakeholders.
• Review and assess new prototype requests and their impact on production.
• Validate product changes in PLM and SAP including BOMs and data.
• Create and maintain an overview of prototype activities, priorities, and timing.
• Coordinate with planning, production, and manufacturing engineering for resources.
• Follow up on execution and translate lessons learned into process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations to ensure feedback drives product and process improvements.
