Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions in Nordborg seeks an Engineer, Production Testing to combine hands-on production support with testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, ensuring high product quality and strong manufacturing performance.

In this role you’ll own testing and production processes, collaborate across teams, drive initiatives for cybersecurity readiness, and develop new technical competencies within a small, collaborative group.

Qualifications

• Experience in production engineering, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, automation, electronics, or a similar technical field.
• Hands-on experience from a production environment, test environment, or both with practical problem solving.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, test systems, equipment optimization, or continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of LabVIEW is an advantage; strong technical foundation and willingness to grow; cybersecurity focus.

Responsibilities

• Support production and test operations to ensure reliable equipment performance and high product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to minimize downtime.
• Develop and optimize production and test processes, equipment, and tools.

At Danfoss Power Solutions in Nordborg, we’re preparing our products, testing environments, and production capabilities for the next generation of technology and cybersecurity requirements. As our new Engineer, Production Testing, you’ll play a key role in that journey. You’ll combine hands‑on production support with testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, helping ensure high product quality, strong manufacturing performance, and future cybersecurity compliance. As part of a small, highly collaborative team, you’ll take ownership, drive improvements, and have opportunities to broaden your responsibilities across production and testing while developing new technical competencies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support production and test operations to ensure reliable equipment performance, high product quality, and efficient delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across manufacturing and testing to minimize downtime and maintain operational stability
• Develop and optimize production and test processes, equipment, and tools to improve quality, productivity, and cybersecurity readiness
• Drive new product introductions, equipment investments, and industrialization activities in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, scrap reduction, productivity, and overall manufacturing performance

What We’re Looking For

• Experience within production engineering, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, automation, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical field
• Hands‑on experience from a production environment, test environment, or ideally both, combined with a practical approach to solving technical challenges
• Experience working with manufacturing processes, test systems, equipment optimization, industrialization activities, or continuous improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of LabVIEW is an advantage. If you have a strong technical foundation and the motivation to develop your skills, we’ll support your growth. As we continue strengthening our cybersecurity capabilities, modern test environments play an increasingly important role
