Danfoss is seeking a Manufacturing Readiness Engineer in Graasten to bridge product development and production. You will coordinate prototype readiness, translate design changes into production needs, and ensure timely builds with high quality.

You will work with engineering, planning and manufacturing, validate changes in PLM and SAP, manage BOMs, and drive continuous improvements of prototype and industrialization processes. English proficiency required.

The Impact You’ll Make

As a Manufacturing Readiness Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging product development and manufacturing. Your work will ensure that design changes and new prototype requirements are translated into successful production builds, helping Danfoss bring innovative products to market efficiently and with high quality.

In this highly collaborative role, you will create the structure, alignment, and transparency needed to move prototypes smoothly from engineering into production. By coordinating stakeholders across engineering, planning, and manufacturing, you will help identify risks early, capture valuable learnings, and contribute to continuous improvement of our prototype and industrialization processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will serve as the central coordinator for prototype readiness activities, ensuring all stakeholders have what they need to execute successful prototype builds. Furhtermore, you will:

• Review and assess new prototype requests, understanding technical changes and their impact on production processes.
• Validate product changes in PLM and SAP, including bills of materials, components, and related product data.
• Create and maintain a clear overview of prototype activities, priorities, material requirements, equipment needs, and timing.
• Coordinate closely with planning, production, and manufacturing engineering to ensure the right resources and equipment are available for prototype builds.
• Follow up on prototype execution, facilitate lessons learned activities, and ensure insights are captured and translated into process improvements.

Working closely with product engineers, production engineers, planners, and manufacturing teams, you will ensure that prototype activities are executed efficiently and that valuable feedback is incorporated into future product and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment and enjoys creating structure, clarity, and momentum in complex projects.

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally supported by a technical or engineering background.
• Proven project coordination or project management skills, with the ability to drive activities forward, manage priorities, and ensure follow-through on key actions.
• Understanding of production processes, product changes, components, and bills of materials (BOMs), preferably with experience supporting product introductions, engineering changes, prototypes, or industrialization activities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling collaboration across functions, locations, and disciplines.
• Experience with PLM and SAP systems and knowledge of electronics manufacturing or PCBA production processes are advantageous.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
