Job summary

Saab Danmark is seeking a Material Manager to oversee the end-to-end flow of project materials in the Sønderborg area. You will ensure delivery accuracy, timeliness and compliance with contracts, while coordinating with Procurement, Quality and Warehouse teams.

The role requires proven logistics experience, project management skills, and strong English communication. Residency within NATO/EU for the last 7 years may be required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics environment.
• Project management experience.
• Attention to details and able to work under strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate overall project materials.
• Main contact for all material and logistics matters in the project.
• Track material status and manage risks related to delays or shortages.
• Ensure deliveries meet contract terms, requirements and documentation standards.
• Handle export control, end-user certificates, dangerous and classified goods according to regulations.
• Coordinate CoC, CoA, and other delivery documents.
• Ensure correct transport, packaging, labeling, and transport documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouses packing slots.
• Optimize inventory levels and avoid excess project stock.
• Monitor orders and shipments to meet project schedules.
