Job summary

Saab Danmark is seeking a Material Manager to oversee the end-to-end flow of project materials, ensuring timely delivery in the right quantity and location to meet milestones and contracts. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on compliant, efficient logistics, risk mitigation, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate overall project materials.
• Main contact for all material and logistics matters in the project.
• Track material status and manage risks related to delays or shortages.
• Ensure deliveries meet contract terms, requirements and documentation standards.
• Handle export control, end-user certificates, dangerous and classified goods according to regulations.
• Coordinate CoC, CoA, and other delivery documents.
• Ensure correct transport, packaging, labeling, and transport documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouses packing slots.
• Optimize inventory levels and avoid excess project stock.
• Monitor orders and shipments to meet project schedules.
• Work closely with Procurement, Quality, project core team and Warehouse.
