Job summary

Spencer Marshall is seeking a Project Manager to provide on-site, in-house management for a portfolio of technical, laboratory and building-infrastructure projects on a Denmark campus. The role requires laboratory, cryogenic and industrial gas, and central plant project experience within live research environments.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering or Architecture, or Danish equivalent.
• Proven track record delivering engineering/construction projects with budget and programme ownership.
• Experience obtaining building and fire approvals from a Danish kommune under AB18/ABT18.
• Danish language proficiency preferred; professional English required.

Responsibilities

• Appoint and manage architects, engineers, and designers across design stages.
• Review technical drawings, load/capacity calculations, equipment schedules; drive closure of comments.
• Survey existing infrastructure capacity for future projects.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and handover with training and defect close-out.
• Lead Danish permitting end-to-end with fire authority and utilities.
• Administer AB18/ABT18 contracts and manage local consultants/contractors.
• Protect live operations with permit-to-work, risk assessments and shutdown planning.
• Adhere to policies and keep technical knowledge up to date.
