Job summary

Krones Nordic, based in Holte, Denmark, seeks a project engineer to plan, test, and implement processing solutions for dairy and liquid foods. You will prepare offers, define specs, and coordinate with subcontractors to deliver complete systems.

You will create technical documentation, manage schedules, perform risk analyses, and ensure quality from design to on-site acceptance. Fluency in English and willingness to travel are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, test and implement processing solutions for liquid foods such as milk and dairy products.
• Prepare offers based on service specs or customer specifications.
• Determine process steps and create flow diagrams; describe systems.
• Create technical documentation for projects and commissions.
• Plan and dimension entire systems; coordinate with subcontractors and issue BOMs.
• Define technical specs for subcontractors; prepare project schedule and P&ID; coordinate departments.
• Conduct risk assessment and analysis; monitor deadlines and costs.
• Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform factory or on-site acceptance tests; support commissioning.
• Train users in operation of systems; act as technical contact for customers and internal teams.
• Travel willingness and basic commercial know-how; hold a drivers license.

What awaits you

• Responsibility for the planning, testing and implementation of processing solutions projects for sensitive liquid foods, including milk and diary products
• Calculation and presentation of offers on the basis of service specifications or according to customer specifications
• Determination of process steps, creation of flow diagrams, description of thesystems
• Creation of technical documentation
• Project planning and dimensioning of the entire systems
• Definition of technical specifications for requests to subcontractors, including BOM creation
• Preparation of the project schedule, P&ID and coordination of thespecialist departments involved in the project
• Risk assessment and analysis
• Deadline and cost controlling
• Ensuring quality and quality control during the project
• Technical acceptance tests at the factory or on site at the customer's site
• Implementation of commissioning and acceptance tests as well as instruction of users in the operation of the systems
• Technical contact for customers and internal departments
• You have a degree preferably in the field ofdairy, food technology, mechanical engineering or process engineering or have completed training as a technician or master craftsman from thefood industry
• You have project management skills (PMP certificate appreciated, but not necessary)
• You have several years of relevant professional experience in the foodindustry, process engineering or plant engineering and experience in the operation of process plants within the food industry
• You are able to communicate and work in a team
• You work independently and on your own responsibility
• You have a quick grasp of complex processes andissues within the food industry
• You will contribute your very good communication skills to our cooperative team and also speak fluent and business-fluent in English, basic German skills are well appreciated
• You are characterized by your willingness to travel
• You have basic commercial knowledge
