Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg seeks an IT Senior Manager to lead and evolve an IT team supporting OT systems ensuring continuous production for medicines. You will establish structure, clear ways of working, and a stable, capable team to support operations on site.

The role blends strong people leadership with hands-on IT in a regulated manufacturing setting, collaborating closely with production and IT system management to maintain uptime. Fluent Danish and English are required.

Qualifications

Must have leadership experience managing IT/OT teams.
Experience guiding through change and organisational build-up.
Knowledge of MES, DCS and PLC in manufacturing environments.
Fluent Danish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop your team, supporting well-being and creating a stable, engaged working environment.
Build a new team structure following organisational change, establishing clear roles, responsibilities and ways of working.
Ensure reliable IT services that keep production-critical systems running across different areas.
Develop KPIs, dashboards, follow-up mechanisms and governance to create clarity and reduce reactive firefighting.
Partner closely with manufacturing to enable fast, effective handling of critical incidents and stable operations.
Balance short-term operational pressure with longer-term structure, keeping the IT organisation visible and accessible to internal customers.
