Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg seeks an IT Senior Manager to lead an 8–10 person team supporting OT systems, ensuring production runs smoothly as the site rebuilds.

You will establish governance, roles, KPIs and dashboards, manage change, and partner with manufacturing to handle incidents and ensure continuous operations.

Fluency in Danish and English is required; the role sits in Global Manufacturing & Supply within the API IT organisation, reporting to the hiring manager rebuilding the area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated people-management experience, including leading and developing employees and teams.
• Experience leading through change, ambiguity or organisational build-up, and the ability to give direction where roles and structures are not yet fully established.
• A track record of building or restructuring a team or operating model, and introducing practical structures such as roles, responsibilities, KPIs, dashboards and governance.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to challenge, coach, influence and build relationships without relying on formal authority.
• Relevant exposure to IT, manufacturing, production, engineering or automation, and an understanding of how IT services connect to production continuity.
• Fluent communication in Danish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop your team, supporting well-being and creating a stable, engaged working environment.
• Build a new team structure following organisational change, establishing clear roles, responsibilities and ways of working.
• Ensure reliable IT services that keep production‑critical systems running across different areas.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, follow‑up mechanisms and governance to create clarity and reduce reactive firefighting.
• Partner closely with manufacturing to enable fast, effective handling of critical incidents and stable operations.
• Balance short‑term operational pressure with longer‑term structure, keeping the IT organisation visible and accessible to internal customers.
