Job summary

Terma Group in Denmark seeks a Production Engineering Manager to lead a 12–15 engineer team focused on manufacturing process integrity and continuous improvement. You will apply Lean methods to improve yield, cycle time and robustness on the production floor, reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Engineering.

You will shape the function with a mandate to build an engaged team capable of independent decision-making and strong collaboration with Product Engineering and Digital Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Technical engineering education in mechanical, manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably regulated industries.
• People leadership experience or readiness to assume it.
• Understanding of process control, capability, PFMEA and change management.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, structured problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build a competence framework defining decision-making for engineers and expand mandate as competence grows.
• Ensure customer requirements are analyzed and implemented in production per internal processes.
• Drive First Pass Yield and process performance through structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Foster a proactive engineering culture where drift is identified and corrected before impacting quality or performance.
• Allocate and protect engineers' capacity across daily production, improvement work and new product introduction.
