Job description

Would you like to become the leader of a skilled production team, driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement? Then this opportunity is for you.

We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes, as we deliver advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry. Our systems provide security for people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for a Production Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role in our team

As our new Production Manager, you will take ownership of one-two skilled and committed teams of specialized Coordinators and Shop Floor Engineers, working across three different shifts as well as weekend shifts, ensuring that daily operations run efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and performance. You will play a key role in fostering a culture built on cooperation, responsibility, and continuous improvement, where professionalism, respect, and humor coexist to create a motivating and inclusive work environment.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional support departments to deliver comprehensive solutions and ensure smooth operations across the production process. You will lead initiatives aimed at optimizing workflows, improving capacity utilization, and driving operational excellence. At the same time, you will handle the pressures of internal and external demands, safeguard the well‑being of your team and maintain consistent quality standards.

Your leadership will focus on developing employees, promoting ownership, accountability, and a learning culture, while balancing day‑to‑day operational needs with strategic improvement initiatives. Through your guidance, you will ensure that both people and processes perform at their best, reflecting the principle: “None of us is as good as all of us” – Ray Kroc.

  • Experience in change management, driving and implementing improvements and changes in production
  • Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders
  • Empathetic communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand, and create psychological safety within the team

As a person, you are structured, confident, and credible, inspiring trust and commitment in those around you. You bring clarity and direction while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. You thrive on change and turn challenges into opportunities for growth and better performance. With a balance of strategic vision and operational focus, you drive progress without compromising people or quality. You lead by example, creating an environment where teams feel motivated, empowered, and ready to succeed.

We arean international company representing world‑class expertise, delivering complex and high‑tech products.
