Job summary

DFDS A/S is seeking a technically oriented Product Owner to lead the evolution of Customer Data and Identity Platform initiatives. You will drive CIAM, consent management, and platform adoption across our customer journey, working with engineers, marketing, and cross‑functional teams in a mobile and multi‑business context.

The role requires hands‑on platform thinking, GDPR alignment, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, user‑centric capabilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Product Owner delivering platform/technology‑driven products.
• Experience working in an agile and cross‑functional environment.
• Hands‑on experience with CIAM, consent management, or related customer data platforms.
• Technical background enabling confident engagement in technical discussions.
• Experience translating GDPR into technical capabilities and platform solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management across teams, countries and domains.
• Ability to balance long‑term strategy with day‑to‑day execution.
• Data‑informed mindset with KPI definition and trend analysis.
• Excellent communication to align engineers, stakeholders and leadership.
• Proactive, curious mindset to improve developer experience, platform adoption and outcomes.
• Experience coaching teams and fostering ownership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and strategy for the Customer Data and Identity Platform Team, driving innovation and aligning processes with a user centric approach.
• Lead development and enhancement of platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Collaborate with marketing and IT to translate stakeholder needs into product strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Manage and prioritize the team backlog based on business value.
• Develop and track long‑term objectives and KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Provide expertise and direction to engineering teams to maximize platform value.
• Stay ahead of trends (e.g., AI) to keep platforms competitive and innovative.
• Coach teams in structured decision‑making and foster ownership and accountability.
