Job summary

Danske Bank is building an enterprise data platform and is seeking a Product Owner to drive the vision, roadmap and backlog for core platform capabilities on Databricks. The role partners with engineering, architecture and business stakeholders to translate needs into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.

You will ensure platform services are reliable, secure, scalable and easy to use, while aligning with data governance, privacy, and enterprise objectives across Data & Analytics.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of agile ways of working.
• High-level knowledge of IT infrastructure and platform technologies.
• Experience working with technical teams, preferably within data, analytics, cloud or infrastructure.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear priorities and outcomes.
• Structured approach to backlog management, planning and decision-making.
• Strong focus on value creation, user needs and delivery.
• Ability to balance strategic direction with day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities

• Help shape and mature our enterprise platform on Databricks.
• Support the implementation and operation of Collibra for governance and OneTrust for privacy.
• Prioritise features, improvements and technical enablers based on business value, risk and strategic direction.
• Work closely with engineers, architects and stakeholders to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure alignment between platform capabilities and the needs of teams across D&A.
• Facilitate dialogue between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Support delivery planning, sprint priorities and dependency management.
