Job summary

Dedalus is hiring a Product Owner in Denmark to own a product area within a Scrum team. You will translate stakeholder needs into prioritized initiatives, maintain the backlog, and ensure the team delivers the right features at the right pace, balancing day-to-day deliveries with the long-term product vision.

• Experience as a Product Owner or closely related role in a Scrum setup.
• Solid understanding of software development and cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to write clear requirements and user stories.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for alignment.
• Experience with stakeholder management and prioritization under pressure.
• Experience with B2B/SaaS or mission-critical domains is a plus.

• Own and drive the product backlog: prioritization, structure, maintenance, and continuous refinement.
• Ensure clear user stories and acceptance criteria for high-quality delivery.
• Facilitate refinement with development, UX, QA and stakeholders.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives with the Scrum Master.
• Support a healthy delivery cadence by managing goals, scope, risks and dependencies.
• Translate input from customers, support/operations, and internal stakeholders into initiatives.
• Strengthen product ways of working through data, feedback and learning (discovery/validation when relevant).

You will be the key link between users, business stakeholders, and the development team: translating needs into initiatives, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring the team is building the right things—at the right pace. You thrive in an environment where you balance day-to-day deliveries while keeping a steady focus on the long-term product vision.

• Own and drive the product backlog: prioritization, structure, maintenance, and continuous refinement.
• Ensure clear user stories and acceptance criteria, enabling the team to deliver with high quality and fewer late-stage clarifications.
• Facilitate refinement and ongoing clarifications with the development team, UX, QA, and relevant stakeholders.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives (in close collaboration with the Scrum Master).
• Support a healthy delivery cadence by working with goals, scope, risks, and dependencies.
• Gather and translate input from customers, support/operations, and internal stakeholders into prioritized initiatives.
• Strengthen product ways of working through data, feedback, and continuous learning (discovery/validation when relevant).

• Essential Requirements: Experience as a Product Owner (or a closely related role) in a Scrum setup.
• Solid understanding of software development and cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to write clear requirements/user stories and make complex topics easy to act on.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills—you create alignment without over-controlling.
• Experience with stakeholder management and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
• A plus if you’ve worked with B2B/SaaS, compliance-heavy domains, or mission-critical solutions (not required).
