BORG Automotive Group in Silkeborg seeks a Product Manager to shape and execute our Engine Parts strategy, owning the product lifecycle from concept to phase-out and driving portfolio growth.

You will lead the Engine Parts Product team, collaborate across functions, translate insights into actions, and ensure value creation for customers and the business.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience in Product Management / Business Development / Technical sales / Product Specialist.
  • Master's degree in Business Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Own and develop the company’s Product-Service System (PSS), ensuring a clear value proposition for customers.
  • Drive execution of the product strategy and monitor performance through relevant product KPIs.
  • Coordinate strategy execution reviews with key stakeholders and departments.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from concept and introduction to phase-out.
  • Drive range extension initiatives and support expansion of the product portfolio.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and support the development of new product families.
  • Coordinate product launches within your category, including testing, go-to-market planning, and cross-functional alignment
  • Provide commercial support to enable the commercial growth of your product category
  • Analyse product performance across countries, customer segments, product ranges, and lifecycle stages.
  • Transform data and market insights into actionable recommendationsLead the Product team, organize the work, priorities and employee development

YOUR ROLE

As Product Manager in our Group Product department in Silkeborg, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our product strategy. You will be responsible for developing and strengthening our Engine Partsportfolio while ensuring that our products and services continue to create value for customers and support our business objectives.

Working cross-functionally across the organization, you will translate strategy into action, manage the product lifecycle, coordinate product launches, and support commercial growth through data-driven insights and recommendations. As Product Manager you will lead the Engine Parts Product team, which includes you and a Product Specialist.

What We’re Looking For
  • At least 3 years experience within Product Management / Business Development / Technical sales / Product Specialist.
  • Past experiences in automotive, aftermarket, remanufacturing, engine parts are beneficial.
  • Master graduate in Business Engineering or Mechanical Engineering are a plus.
  • Danish, German, French or Spanish fluency is a plus. English fluency is mandatory.
  • Strong commercial understanding combined with analytical capabilities.
  • Experience working with product lifecycle management and product development processes.
  • Ability to translate business data into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated by continuous improvement.
