We're seeking a Vendor Parts Product Manager to join our team in Copenhagen with a starting date as early as possible.
What is the job?
- You will report to the Head of Vendor Parts Satair Channel and be at the heart of a highly competitive product line which drives the sales of an expanded portfolio of products across major platforms including Airbus and Boeing.
- You will take full ownership of your product line(s) from setting financial targets, driving operational performance, maintaining P&L accountability, to building strong and long-lasting relationships with key suppliers.
- You will join a global, high performing and supportive team across Copenhagen, Germany, Singapore and the US. Supporting and coaching each other is embedded in the team’s culture and ways of working to share best practices and create powerful synergies.
Primary responsibilities
- Proactively work with key suppliers to position their offerings in the aftermarket – and become their key partner for aftermarket strategy.
- Define and take ownership of product line financial targets (P&L).
- Actively drumbeat key initiatives to drive operational performance within a diverse and global cross‑functional team.
- Develop Satair’s competitiveness by:
- Fostering strong relationships with OEMs to secure distribution agreements and solidify Satair’s portfolio.
- Partnering with the Market Product Management team to execute integrated global and regional sales strategies.
- Collaborating with our Supply Chain organization to ensure seamless product availability across our global distribution network.
- Identifying untapped market opportunities and orchestrating the development of new offerings to drive business expansion.
Travel
This role involves approximately 20-30 days of travel per year, to visit suppliers, attend international fairs and internal workshops. It is also expected to work with US suppliers, meaning that flexibility on time‑zone differences is required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Master’s degree in International Business or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a B2B environment – a background in aviation is a significant advantage.
- A sharp business acumen and strong analytical skills to drive key decisions.
- A natural talent for building relationships and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- An eye for detail and appetite for structure.
- Comfortable with juggling multiple topics simultaneously, involving several external and internal stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic team player who tackles challenges with a positive attitude and a solution‑oriented approach.
- As an international company, we operate in English; additional language skills are a welcome asset.
