Job summary

Hamamatsu Photonics A/S in Denmark is seeking a Product Data Process Specialist to own PLM-driven product data and BOM management across R&D and production. You will drive engineering changes, ensure data quality, and collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure the product is correctly set up for manufacturing.

The role is ideal for someone with a technical engineering background, experience in high-tech development, and a proactive, structured mindset focused on process and data

Qualifications

• Hold a technical degree within Product Development or a bachelor’s in engineering.
• Experience in a high-tech product development environment with knowledge of Product data management.
• Experience handling Product structures and data within PLM or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Understanding of technical and regulatory requirements for Product documentation is an advantage.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and eager to contribute to process and data excellence.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and capable of project management.

Central role in Product Data Processes

Founded within our R&D Department, you will be central to our daily operation, supporting the effective handling of our Product documentation and data – from initiation of R&D Projects until Product End-Of-Life. You will be a go-to person for Optical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineers, a super user of our PLM system and Product documentation requirements. With your proactive and structured mindset, you will take an active role in Product Development projects and a driving role in BOM creation, Product data & documentation creation, Engineering Changes – basically ensuring that the new Product is setup correctly and consistently for processes across the value chain to run smoothly.

The Role:

The Profile:

• We expect you to hold a technical degree within Product Development or a bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Experience working within a high-tech product development environment and knowledge of Product data management
• Experience with handling of Product structures and Product data within PLM or ERP systems is an advantage
• Understanding of technical and regulatory requirements for Product Documentation is an advantage
• Team player with a can-do attitude and eager to contribute to process and data excellence
