Job summary

Hamamatsu Photonics A/S invites applications for a central role in Product Data Processes. You will be a super user of the PLM system, handling Product data, BOM creation, and engineering changes within R&D projects to ensure correct setup for production and supply chain.

Central role in Product Data Processes

Founded within our R&D Department, you will be central to our daily operation, supporting the effective handling of our Product documentation and data - from initiation of R&D Projects until Product End-Of-Life. You will be a go‑to person for Optical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineers, a super user of our PLM system and Product documentation requirements. With your proactive and structured mindset, you will take an active role in Product Development projects and a driving role in BOM creation, Product data & documentation creation, Engineering Changes - basically ensuring that the new Product is setup correctly and consistently for processes across the value chain to run smoothly.

The Role

• Super User of the PLM system, Product data management and related R&D Processes
• Be responsible for Part and BOM creation within assigned Product development projects, ensuring that the product is setup correctly for production and supply chain processes
• Coordinate and drive Engineering changes, to facilitate cross functional collaboration
• Ensure product data and documentation quality
• Work closely with stakeholders across the value chain and across our geographical sites

The Profile

• We expect you to hold a technical degree within Product Development or a bachelor's degree in engineering
• Experience working within a high‑tech product development environment and knowledge of Product data management
• Experience with handling of Product structures and Product data within PLM or ERP systems is an advantage
• Understanding of technical and regulatory requirements for Product Documentation is an advantage
• Team player with a can‑do attitude and eager to contribute to process and data excellence
• Work structured, have an eye for detail and a flair for project management
• Self-driven, Service minded and pragmatic
• Experience working in a cross functional environment
