RWE Renewables Denmark A/S is seeking a procurement professional on a fixed-term maternity cover (full time) to support the Procurement, Supply Chain Strategy and Cost Analytics team. You will collaborate with international stakeholders across the renewables portfolio to drive sustainable procurement decisions.

The role focuses on cost analytics, market analysis, and sourcing strategy development for onshore/offshore wind, solar, and related technologies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, sales, supply chain, category management or a related commercial discipline.
  • Experience with strategic procurement or sales projects and stakeholder management in an international environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market trends and support business recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support international sustainability and supply chain strategy projects across the renewables business.
  • Drive procurement sustainability and supply chain initiatives for onshore/offshore wind, solar, batteries, and related technologies.
  • Identify and analyse supply chain trends, market developments and supplier landscapes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor regulatory, trade-policy and geopolitical developments and assess their implications for procurement markets, supplier availability and project costs.
  • Assess supply and demand dynamics within key procurement categories and provide sourcing recommendations.
  • Support development and continuous improvement of category and procurement strategies with Category Management teams.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, risk management and procurement transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain cost and price databases including benchmarking, forecasting and analytics to support procurement decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders across countries.
  • Provide additional procurement capacity to the team during the maternity cover period.

This is an excellent opportunity to join RWE Renewables on a fixed-term maternity cover contract, providing additional capacity to the Procurement Supply Chain Strategy and Cost Analytics team during a period of continued growth. Working with international stakeholders across the renewables business, you will help drive sustainability initiatives, support supply chain strategy activities and contribute to sourcing and market analysis projects. You will also contribute to cost and price analytics, including benchmarking and forecasting activities, to support fact-based procurement and category decisions. We are looking for an experienced procurement professional who can quickly make an impact in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Previous energy sector experience is advantageous but not essential.

About the role
  • Lead and support international sustainability and supply chain strategy projects across the renewables business.
  • Drive procurement sustainability and supply chain initiatives in support of onshore and offshore wind, solar, batteries and related technologies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple countries.
  • Provide additional procurement capacity to the team, ensuring priorities and projects are delivered effectively throughout the maternity cover period.
Job requirements and experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience within procurement, sales, supply chain, category management or a related commercial discipline.
  • Experience working with strategic procurement or sales projects and stakeholder management in an international environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and support business recommendations.
  • Experience in cost modelling, price analysis, and datavisualization would beadvantageous.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • A structured, proactive and results-oriented approach with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Degree-level qualification, ideally within Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
  • Experience within the energy, renewables or wider infrastructure sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Fluent English and willingness to collaborate with international teams; international travel may be required.
