Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg seeks a Process Scientist to support Specialized QC Utility. You will qualify and manage analytical equipment, collaborate with development teams, and ensure GMP-compliant documentation and processes.

You will contribute to method development and validation, troubleshoot lab equipment, and support scale-up of new technologies, playing a key role in ensuring quality for medicines addressing chronic diseases.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant academic degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering or related field.
• Experience with GMP in a quality control laboratory.
• Proactive, IT-literate and able to manage documentation.
• Experience with method development, validation and data evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and implement new analytical equipment (NIR, PSD, Karl Fischer, pH meters, balances, pipettes) to expand laboratory capabilities.
• Collaborate with Process Development and Manufacturing Development to develop and validate methods from study design to reporting.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide hands-on support to minimize downtime.
• Conduct lifecycle management activities and assess equipment performance trends.
• Manage change requests, deviations and SOP updates to meet GMP requirements.
• Contribute to introducing new technologies across production areas.
