Job summary

Schneider Electric Denmark is seeking an experienced PR & Communications Manager to lead brand, public relations and internal communications from our Ballerup office. You will partner with country leadership, marketing and business leaders to shape how the brand is perceived locally and align external and internal messaging.

You will drive a Denmark-wide strategy for media relations, social channels and thought leadership, manage agencies and budgets, and coach executives on media training.

Qualifications

• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience in public relations, public affairs, social media, and campaign execution.
• Proficient copywriting, editing, and storytelling in Danish and English.
• Expertise in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Ability to work independently and influence across a matrix organization in a structured way.
• Experience managing budgets, agencies, and performance metrics.
• Educational background in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, or related disciplines (desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Denmark’s Brand, PR & Communications strategy, including high-profile events like Folkemødet.
• Manage external communications, media relations, social media, and thought leadership campaigns.
• Collaborate with the country leadership, marketing teams, Nordic Baltic teams, and business leaders to ensure alignment and impact.
• Analyze competitor communications and optimize ours.
• Drive internal communications with a focus on company strategy and employee engagement.
• Create compelling content across digital channels, blogs, social media, and internal platforms.
• Coordinate with external agencies, manage budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Act as the single point of contact for PR in Denmark, including crisis communications and media training for executives.
