DTU Health Tech invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Wearable Biosensors and Soft Bioelectronics. You will develop sensing platforms that combine flexible bioelectronics, biosensors and AI to address real‑world healthcare challenges, collaborating across health technology, biology and data science.

You will publish high‑impact research, supervise MSc/PhD students, and contribute to translating discoveries into next‑generation healthcare solutions in an international environment

Qualifications

• PhD in biophysics, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, materials science, chemistry, or related discipline.
• Experience in biosensors, bioelectronics, biomaterials, nanomaterials, or electrochemical sensing.
• Hands-on design, development and validation of functional materials or sensing platforms.
• Strong publication record and excellent written and oral English communication.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary collaborations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop wearable biosensors and soft bioelectronic systems.
• Engineer and characterize functional materials and biointerfaces for sensing.
• Develop sensing platforms using biomolecules and nanomaterials.
• Perform biochemical, biophysical and electrochemical characterization.
• Validate technologies through in vitro and ex vivo studies.
• Publish in high‑impact journals and present at conferences.
• Co-supervise MSc and PhD students and collaborate across teams.
