Job summary

DTU Health Tech in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Wearable Biosensors and Soft Bioelectronics.

You will develop innovative sensing technologies that combine flexible bioelectronics, biosensors, and AI to address real-world healthcare challenges. This role offers an international, interdisciplinary environment and opportunities to publish high-impact work and translate discoveries into next-generation health solutions.

Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant field (biophysics/biochemistry/biomedical sciences/materials science/chemistry).
  • Experience with biosensors, bioelectronics, biomaterials, nanomaterials, or electrochemical sensing.
  • Hands-on design, development and validation of functional materials or sensing platforms.
  • Strong publication record and excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop wearable biosensors and soft bioelectronic systems.
  • Engineer and characterize functional materials and biointerfaces for sensing.
  • Develop and evaluate sensing platforms using biomolecules and nanomaterials.
  • Perform biochemical, biophysical, and electrochemical characterization of sensing systems.
  • Validate sensing technologies through in vitro and ex vivo studies.
  • Publish research in leading journals and present at conferences.
  • Co-supervise MSc and PhD students and contribute to collaborations.
