Job summary

DTU invites applications for a postdoctoral/PhD-aligned research position in robotics, control, and embodied AI. You will develop hierarchical control architectures for soft robotic systems and validate ideas on physical platforms within the CREA group at DTU.

Collaborations span national and international partners. Candidates should have a PhD in robotics/control, strong publication history, and excellent Python/C++ skills.

Qualifications

• PhD in robotics/control or related field and strong publication record.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and independent research.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design hierarchical control architectures for soft robotic platforms.
• Implement neuro-inspired computational approaches and validate them experimentally.
• Validate algorithms in simulation and on real robotic systems.
• Collaborate across control, AI, and RL components with international partners.
• Disseminate results through journals and conferences.
• Supervise BSc and MSc student projects.
• Engage in NRT-Lab activities and strategic planning.
