Job summary

Aalborg University invites applications for a 24-month Postdoc in thermal processes for power-to-X technologies, starting 1 October 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, based at the Aalborg campus.

You will join the Hydrogen and Electrofuels group in Thermal Engineering, performing CFD modelling, data analysis and publication of results in international journals, with European partners and occasional teaching duties.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in Thermal Engineering or equivalent scientific qualifications.
• Strong modelling and CFD experience.
• English proficiency; Danish language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CFD modelling research within MetNH3Energy and ACE Water projects.
• Analyse data and interpret results; prepare publications in international journals.
• Collaborate with internal groups and European partners; present findings at meetings and conferences.
• Contribute to teaching and supervision of students as needed.
