Job summary

DTU Entrepreneurship invites applications for a research position focused on how universities and entrepreneurial ecosystems influence deep tech startups. You will build a landmark database, conduct independent research, and share insights with Danish and international stakeholders.

The appointment is for two years under DTU’s scientific staff framework. The ideal candidate holds a PhD in a related field, has experience with quantitative data collection and analysis, and is fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).
• PhD in entrepreneurship, innovation studies, economics, management, or related social science.
• Experience with quantitative data collection and analysis.
• Applicants must be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive database of university deep tech startups worldwide.
• Carry out independent, high-quality research using the data.
• Collaborate on academic papers for high-impact journals.
• Engage with stakeholders and communicate insights through reports.
• Lead on academic publications in collaboration with the research team.
• Help shape the long-term research agenda of the team.
