Job summary

DTU Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship invites applications for a two-year postdoc position focusing on how technological expertise is integrated into top management to steer organizational change in complex, technology-driven environments.

You will conduct case studies of technology-intensive firms and work with DTU ENT and DTU MAN to contribute to knowledge on engineering leadership and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Qualitative research methods, case study research, interviews, fieldwork, and/or other practice-based approaches to studying organizations.
• An internationally oriented research profile, documented through a PhD dissertation and/or research publications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage productively with both academic and non-academic stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and academic writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate how leadership is accomplished in practice and how technological expertise becomes meaningful in shaping priorities, innovation trajectories, and strategic direction.
• Examine how technological expertise is used during decision making in organizations and how it can be developed for non-tech leaders.
• Collaborate with DTU ENT and DTU MAN to contribute to knowledge creation in engineering leadership.
