Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Laboratory Technician for Chemical Operations to join the non-GMP technical pilot facility in Bagsværd. You will contribute to scaling up chemical processes and commissioning new reactors, collaborating across teams to establish robust pilot-scale operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution, process understanding, and teamwork in a dynamic environment with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Education as a Laboratory Technician, Process Technologist or similar technical qualification.
• Hands-on experience with chemical modification processes at lab, pilot, or production scale.
• Solid theoretical understanding of chemical processes and operations.
• Interest in process technology, equipment operation and process control.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute chemical modification processes in the pilot facility.
• Implement API manufacturing processes from development to pilot-scale production.
• Support operation, troubleshooting and optimization of equipment and processes.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal standards.
• Contribute to daily operation and continuous improvement of the pilot facility.
