Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Downstream Development Scientist to bridge development and manufacturing, optimizing downstream processes, solving production challenges and transferring new processes into commercial scale.

You will apply protein chemistry and purification expertise, write regulatory documentation, and own development packages. Work within API MSAT Process Support teams in Bagsværd and Gentofte.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Science or Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience with downstream processes in pharma/production/lab settings.
• Strong knowledge of protein chemistry and purification.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive yield and process optimisations in the department's lab.
• Provide specialised technical support to ongoing commercial production.
• Lead the transfer of new downstream processes to production facilities.
• Own development package and write regulatory documentation.
• Create and maintain Master Formulas and In-process Controls.
