Qualifications

  • MSc degree in Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, Solid State Chemistry, Solid State Physics, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with synthesis methods in solid-state chemistry, incl. mixed-anion compounds.
  • Technical skills in materials characterization (XRD, XPS, SEM) and crystal structure analysis.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Willingness to collaborate with industry and work in teams.

Responsibilities

  • Implement research tasks related to the Novo Nordisk Foundation project.
  • Plan and execute materials synthesis, crystal structure analysis, and performance evaluation in solar water splitting.
  • Analyze data, interpret results, and communicate findings in group seminars and conferences.
  • Prepare reports and publications and contribute to grant writing for SDU NanoSYD.
  • Supervise BSc/MSc and exchange students affiliated with SDU NanoSYD.
