Qualifications

• This role requires an engineering background with hands-on plastics design experience.
• Experience in product development including prototyping, testing and design verification.
• Familiarity with mechanical design principles, fluid dynamics, GMP and single-use materials.
• Understanding pharma requirements, validation and compliance for regulated products.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical direction in a new product area.
• Ability to collaborate across a matrix organization and across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop single-use products tailored for pharmaceutical applications
• Apply mechanical design principles of plastic components to ensure performance and manufacturability
• Drive design verification, pharma product validation, and continuous improvement
• Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing
