Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Måløv, Denmark, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for Peptide Research to synthesize and purify modified peptides advancing early research projects in collaboration with project teams.

You will perform synthesis and purification, analyze with UPLC/LC-MS, and contribute to interpreting data for discussions with chemistry teams, while maintaining instruments and proposing automated workflows to improve discovery pipelines.

Qualifications

• Education as Laboratory Technician (Laborant) required.
• Experience in organic synthesis, peptide chemistry, preparative HPLC or ion-exchange chromatography is required.
• Knowledge of HPLC/UPLC/LC-MS and data interpretation is needed.
• Self-driven, organized and proactive in solving challenges.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new workflows with advancing technology.

Responsibilities

• Independent planning and execution of synthesis and purification of modified proteins and peptides.
• Analysis and characterization using UPLC and LC-MS
• Interpreting experimental data and presenting findings to project chemistry teams
• Daily maintenance of instruments and troubleshooting
• Development and implementation of novel automated workflows
