Bavarian Nordic is seeking a proactive People & Organization Generalist to join our People Experience team in Denmark. You will support employees and leaders with day-to-day HR, onboarding, employment changes and offboarding while driving compliant, efficient processes.

You will work hybrid from our Hellerup headquarters, partnering with Payroll, Talent Acquisition, P&O Legal and external mobility partners to deliver excellent employee experiences across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
• Two years (or more) HR operations and employee lifecycle experience.
• Understanding of employment law (DK) and strong compliance mindset.
• Experience with Workday and Docusign is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding, employment changes, leave administration and offboarding.
• Guide employees and leaders on HR policies, processes and benefits.
• Maintain accurate, compliant employee data in our core HR system (Workday).
• Drive global mobility activities and collaborate with external mobility partners.
• Improve processes and contribute to P&O projects that enhance the experience.

You will support employees and leaders with day-to-day HR, while helping us improve the processes and enable value adding HR.You will be a part of a global team, where you will be the key responsible for a variety of tasks and services related to the employee lifecycle for our Danish organization. It is a varied role that requires ownership for details as well as being mindful of the broader picture. Ideally, you will combine hands-on HR operations with problem-solving and continuous improvement in an international environment.**Become part of a collaborative People Experience team**You will join a collaborative team of 13 talented colleagues within our global People & Organization function. Working mainly with our Danish organization, you will partner closely with employees, leaders, Talent Acquisition, P&O Legal, Payroll, and colleagues across the business.The role is based at our headquarters in Hellerup, Greater Copenhagen, and reports to the Head of People Experience.Your focus will be to make HR support clear, efficient, and compliant while contributing ideas that make our ways of working simpler and better.**Your responsibilities**You will support the everyday moments that shape the employee experience - from joining Bavarian Nordic to changes during employment and eventually leaving the company.Your key responsibilities will include:* Support onboarding (contract and systems), employment changes, leave administration, and offboarding* Guide employees and leaders on HR policies, processes, benefits, and employment matters* Maintain accurate, compliant employee data and transactions in our core HCM system, Workday* Handle leave administration, such as parental leave* Drive global mobility activities, including work permits and services from external mobility partners* Collaborate with external HR providers in countries without a local HR presence* Improve processes and contribute to P&O projects that strengthen the employee experience.**What we are looking for**You bring a solid foundation in HR operations and enjoy balancing detail-oriented administration with improvement work while building excellent relations to employees.We are looking for someone who:* Holds a bachelor's or a master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field* Has solid experience in HR operations and employee lifecycle services, typically two years or more, depending on the scope and depth of experience* Ideally brings experience from a regulated or compliance-driven industry on the global scene* Understands HR processes, basic principles of employment law (DK), and maintains a strong compliance mindset* Is comfortable working with HR systems: Workday & Docusign experience is an advantage* Communicates fluently in Danish and English, both verbally and in writingYou will thrive in this role if you enjoy bringing structure, take initiative, and look for continuous improvement.
