Job summary

Kingspan Acoustics in Aarhus is seeking a Payroll Controller to join our finance team. This hands-on role combines payroll operations with financial insight to ensure accurate, compliant end-to-end payroll processes and strong decision support for the business.

The successful candidate will own payroll controlling across units, ensure data quality, perform reconciliations, and collaborate with HR and Finance to align data and reporting. You are detail-oriented and proactive.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll, controlling, or financial operations.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and data.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll systems and financial integrations.
• Experience with reconciliations, data validation, and ensuring consistency across multiple data sources.

This is a hands‑on role combining payroll operations with financial insight, ensuring a robust end‑to‑end payroll process, strong compliance, and clear decision support for the business.

Your responsibilities

• Own payroll controlling, reporting, and insights across business units
• Ensure high data quality, financial control, and compliance in payroll processes
• Take responsibility for the end‑to‑end payroll process, including payroll calculations, reporting, and reconciliations
• Ensure consistency between payroll, HR, and Finance data, including reconciliations and control structures
• Responsible for production wages

You create transparency and structure in payroll data and processes. You drive analysis and follow‑up on key developments, support budget and forecast with payroll insights, and continuously improve and standardise payroll processes. You stay close to operations, ensuring payroll runs accurately and on time — and act as a backup in payroll operations when needed.

Your profile

• Experience with payroll, controlling, or financial operations
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and data
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll systems and financial integrations
• Experience with reconciliations, data validation, and ensuring consistency across multiple data sources

You are a hands‑on and detail‑oriented specialist who takes ownership of both payroll operations and data quality. You work in a structured and analytical way, ensure accuracy and compliance, and translate payroll data into clear and actionable insights. You are comfortable handling sensitive data, ensuring consistency in reporting, and maintaining strong control over payroll‑related processes.
