Tour Partner Group in Copenhagen, Denmark is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to ensure accurate payroll processing, HR administration in HiBob, and administration of pensions, benefits, and public reimbursements. You will work as part of a collaborative, international team.
This involves managing payroll data, liaising with external payroll providers, and supporting HR processes in HiBob, including onboarding, leave management, and compliance with Danish payroll rules.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Accountant to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing HR administration in HiBob, and administering pensions, benefits, and public reimbursements. You will work as part of a collaborative, international team.
Prepare and quality-check payroll data prior to each payroll run.
Register and verify salary changes, bonuses, allowances, overtime, absences, and other payroll-related information.
Collaborate with the external payroll provider and follow up on payroll processing.
Respond to employee enquiries regarding salary and payslips.
Prepare payroll-related reports and reconciliations.
Create and maintain accurate employee master data and time-registration information in HiBob.
Administer employee lifecycle changes, including new hires, terminations, contract amendments, salary changes, and organisational changes.
Maintain organisational structures, reporting lines, and employee information in HiBob.
Administer annual leave, additional leave days, sick leave, parental leave, and other absences.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including collaboration with IT and other relevant stakeholders.
Prepare, maintain, and file employment documents and other HR documentation.
Support managers and employees with the use of HiBob and respond to system-related queries.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR workflows, data quality, and system processes.
Administer PFA pension schemes, including enrolments, terminations, and amendments.
Administer health insurance and other employee benefits.
Liaise with external providers regarding pensions and insurance.
Manage sickness benefit reimbursements, parental leave reimbursements, and other reimbursement claims.
Monitor deadlines and maintain dialogue with public authorities.
Ensure that HR and payroll processes comply with applicable legislation and internal procedures.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardisation of administrative processes across HR and Finance.
We are looking for an individual with the following skills and qualifications:
Proven experience in payroll administration, ideally within a Danish context.
Solid knowledge of Danish payroll rules, relevant employment legislation, and pension and insurance schemes.
Experience with HiBob or a similar HRIS, and confident use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy when working with sensitive data and tight payroll deadlines.
Good communication and service skills, with the ability to answer employee questions clearly and collaborate with external providers and public authorities.
Fluent English, both written and spoken (Danish is an advantage).
A structured, proactive approach, with a drive to improve and standardise processes.

Payroll Deadlines and Peak Periods: Certain payroll deadlines and peak periods may require additional flexibility, and overtime may occasionally be required. Where overtime is required, this is compensated as time off in lieu.
Work Location: This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, with the possibility of hybrid working in accordance with our current working arrangements.
Contract Type: This is a 9-month fixed-term contract.
