About The Role

This is a broad and visible role where you will combine day-to-day HR support with the opportunity to improve how we work. You will help translate Group priorities into effective local practices, ensure compliance with Danish employment legislation, and support managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle. You will have significant ownership of the Danish HR agenda, with support from Group HR and Country Manager.

Partnering & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to local management, providing practical HR guidance and support.

  • Build strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders, connecting local business needs with Group and regional HR priorities.

  • Support and coordinate key HR processes, including performance and salary reviews, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.

  • Help implement regional and Group HR initiatives locally, adapting them to the Danish context where needed.

  • Support managers in building engagement, retention and a positive employee experience.

  • Ensure compliance with Danish employment legislation and know when to seek advice from external legal specialists.

Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  • Own and coordinate the employee lifecycle in Denmark, from hiring through exit.

  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

  • Coordinate contracts, payroll, benefits, time tracking and leave management.

  • Prepare relevant reporting and evaluations for business reviews, sustainability reporting and HR analytics.

Development & Ways of Working
  • Lead and continuously improve HR processes and ways of working in Denmark.

  • Use technology, automation and data to make processes simpler, more scalable and more effective.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and support the business through better HR practices.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working close to the business and being involved in all sides of the HR agenda. You are comfortable taking ownership, working independently and getting into the details, while also understanding the bigger picture. You build trust easily, are pragmatic in your approach and enjoy finding solutions that work in practice.

To thrive in this role, you likely:

  • Have 2–5 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, HR Operations and/or HR administration.

  • Have a degree or equivalent education in HR, People Management or a related field.

  • Have a good understanding of Danish employment legislation and know when to seek external advice.

  • Are hands-on, proactive and pragmatic, with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Can balance day-to-day HR operations with longer-term improvements and initiatives.

  • Are confident using digital tools and HR technology, including HRIS, LMS and candidate-tracking systems. Experience with AI-enabled tools is a plus.

  • Have strong Microsoft 365 skills; experience with HR analytics and Excel is an advantage.

  • Are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
