Job summary

Flatpay is hiring a Head of Pay to lead the Pay product globally, including terminal hardware, onboarding, activation, merchant app, settlement, and reporting. You will drive strategy, maintain simplicity for non-technical merchants, and partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to ship updates on two-month cycles.

You will stay deeply connected to the field by engaging with sales, support, and merchants to influence roadmap decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product, with experience leading product managers.
• Commercial, results-driven mindset focused on merchants, conversion, volume and margin.
• Evidence of field-driven discovery with merchants or sales.
• Track record shipping fast in a low-structure environment.
• Generalist builder thriving in a fast-paced scale-up and comfortable working outside comfort zone.
• Excellent stakeholder management across functions, markets and time zones, and excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Own Pay end to end globally - terminal hardware, the payment experience, onboarding and activation, the merchant app, settlement and reporting.
• Set the Pay strategy and defend it: what we build, what we deliberately do not build, and what stays the same across every market.
• Keep the product radically simple for non-technical merchants and protect it as a priority.
• Lead and grow the Pay product team, setting the bar for discovery, delivery and written thinking.
• Be a player-coach, running your own track on hardest problems and reviewing others.
• Partner with Engineering, Design and Data in Copenhagen to ship the roadmap on ~two-month cycles.
