Job summary

UN Women Nordic Liaison Office in Copenhagen offers a 6-month Partnerships and Visibility internship. You will support research on regional priorities, monitor media, assist events planning, and help produce content to raise UN Women’s visibility across the Nordic and Baltic regions.

Under the Director's supervision, you will engage with governments, civil society, private sector and media to advance gender equality, gaining hands-on experience in communications and partnerships.

Qualifications

• University studies in political science, development studies, gender studies, or international relations.
• Be enrolled in a postgraduate programme or final year of a first degree, or recently graduated and starting within two years.
• Proficient written and spoken English; Nordic language skills are required.
• Interest in UN Women’s mission and gender equality advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out political research on UN Women priorities in Nordic/Baltic regions.
• Monitor national media and report on coverage and trends.
• Assist in planning events and high-level visits during the internship.
• Support translation and distribution of corporate updates and press releases.
