Job summary

UN Women Nordic Liaison Office in Copenhagen seeks a Public Partnerships intern to gain hands-on experience in UN communications, stakeholder engagement, and gender equality initiatives across the Nordic and Baltic regions.

You will conduct research, monitor media coverage, and assist with high-level consultations while collaborating with a wide network of partners. The internship offers learning opportunities within the UN City community.

Qualifications

• Proficient communication skills in English (written and oral).
• Proficient communication in a Nordic language.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant degree program.
• Interest in UN Women’s mandate and gender equality.
• Good analytical and writing abilities; ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out national political research on issues related to UN Women and report developments.
• Monitor Nordic media coverage on UN Women topics and summarize findings.
• Assist in preparing high-level consultations, events, and meetings.
• Conduct research to support strategic decisions and identify engagement opportunities.
• Support translation and distribution of updates, statements, and reports.
