Job summary

UN Women Nordic Liaison Office in Copenhagen offers a 6-month internship from 1 February 2027 to 31 July 2027. The internship provides exposure to UN communications strategies, partnership development with governments and civil society across the Nordic and Baltic regions, and opportunities to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University studies in a relevant field are required.
• Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme or in the final year of a first degree.
• Recent graduates may start the internship within two years of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out national political research on issues related to UN Women’s mandate and report on developments in the Nordic and Baltic regions.
• Monitor national media on UN Women-related issues and report on coverage.
• Assist in preparing high-level consultations, events, and meetings with Nordic public partners.
• Conduct research to support strategic decision-making and identify engagement opportunities.
• Support translation and distribution of updates and press releases through national media outlets.
