Job summary

Combineering A/S in Birkerød seeks an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the Operations & Transport team. You will coordinate a 3-5 person group, drive continuous improvement, ensure ISO compliance, and manage forecasting, budgeting, and monthly closures.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and COO to boost profitability and customer satisfaction while developing processes and people.

Qualifications

• An educated Freight Forwarder or equivalent logistics background.
• Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
• Waste industry education is an advantage.

You will be working closely with both Sales, Finance, Legal & Compliance, your team itself and your team leader colleague. Delivering customer service and profitability. While optimising the supply chain, following our ISO requirements, making sure invoices are issued and paid. You will be end-to-end contributions responsible.

Your role will be partly hands on logistics solutions, but also to a large degree coordinating, reporting, developing, purchasing transport and problem solving. A great career step for an experienced freight forwarding team leader, who wants to switch from the seller to the buyer position.

You will act as the operational lead for the team and support the development of employees, processes, and customer satisfaction while working closely with the COO and other stakeholders. You will have full departmental contribution margin responsibility and will contribute to operational performance, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in the monthly closure process, budgeting process and in the development of the full operational function and department in general too. While still being able to utilize your operational knowledge in your everyday life.

What You Bring

Education

• especially as an educated Freight Forwarder or equivalent logistics background as a prerequisite
• Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management is an advantage
• Waste industry education is an advantage

Experience

• Experience leading or coordinating operational teams
• Logistics and freight forwarding experience
• Customer-facing experience
• Transport (Road/Trucking) negotiation and planning is an advantage
• Experience from the waste or recycling industry is an advantage

• Danish and English – spoken and written to perfection
• Fluency in either German or Italian is a clear advantage
