Job summary

Terma Group in Denmark is seeking an Operations Analyst to turn operational data into insights that drive performance and continuous improvement across the organization.

You will develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Python, Excel and SQL, collaborate with stakeholders, perform root-cause analyses, and support the implementation of new tools and processes. Fluency in English is required; Danish is a plus. On-site in Grenaa at least four days a week.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business Analytics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, Python, Excel, SQL or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
• ERP experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

Your role as part of the team

As our new Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in turning operational data into valuable insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement across our organization. You will help identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve resource utilization, and enhance operational performance through a data-driven approach.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across operations and production planning
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data visualizations that support decision-making across departments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes, improve resource utilization, streamline workflows, and support operational excellence initiatives
• Conduct root-cause analyses of operational challenges and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance and resolve bottlenecks
• Support the implementation of new tools, technologies, and processes while delivering insights and recommendations to leadership on strategic operational initiatives.

Bring your expertise into play

• A degree in Business Analytics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Experience working with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Python, Excel, SQL, or similar technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to work with large and complex datasets
• The ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders with different backgrounds and areas of expertise
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage but not a requirement.
