Job description

Would you like to shape complex security system solutions from the earliest design stages through to project closure? In this role, you will combine technical expertise, customer engagement, and commercial insight to create solutions that meet customer needs and contribute to meaningful projects that help keep people safe. Come join us!

We are facing an exciting future with considerable growth and demanding changes. We continue to evolve our advanced technologies and mission critical solutions for the defense and aerospace industry to deliver real-world solutions that matter to the security of people on land, at sea and in the air. Therefore, we are looking for an Application Manager to become part of this journey and contribute to our overall purpose – securing people through advanced technology.

Your role as part of the team

As our new Application Manager, you will support the pre‑sales organization in shaping and developing security system proposals from early design to project closure. You will play a key role in ensuring both technical and commercial compliance in a highly specialized field, where deep technical knowledge combined with a strong commercial mindset is necessary. The role combines technical engineering, commercial focus and customer engagement.

You will become part of a small, highly collaborative team of four colleagues with extensive interaction across the wider organization. The team operates in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and stakeholder engagement are central to success. We take pride in developing both people and technology, and you will have the opportunity to broaden your technical and commercial expertise while working with colleagues across disciplines.

Technical capabilities are important, but your mindset matters just as much. You are likely an experienced professional who enjoys translating customer requirements into practical solutions, building relationships with stakeholders, and navigating complex technical discussions. If you are proactive, curious, commercially aware, and thrive in an environment with many interfaces, you could be a great addition to our team.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

In this role, you will contribute to a range of tasks across your area of responsibility. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development of high‑quality, compliant proposals with complex technical scope and content, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Create and tailor technical solutions based on customer requirements, drawing on expertise within radar and camera technology
  • Translate complex technical concepts and solutions into clear, compelling commercial value propositions
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders throughout the proposal phase, building strong and lasting relationships
  • Present and communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences, facilitating professional stakeholder dialogue
  • Collaborate closely across functions and with external partners to ensure alignment, strong stakeholder engagement, and successful proposal outcomes
Bring your expertise into play

To thrive in this role, we require that you bring some of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent technical education combined with relevant experience may also be considered
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical project engineering, systems engineering, or a similar role, combined with experience in technical pre‑sales and customer‑facing negotiations
  • Proven knowledge of advanced radar, camera, or other complex sensor technologies, ideally within defense, security, or critical infrastructure environments
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, with the ability to develop solutions and solve complex technical challenges through a structured and analytical approach
  • Broad technical insight across mechanical, electronic, and software architectures, including experience with testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

Most importantly, we believe diverse experiences add value to our team and organization. Therefore, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the above requirements.

As we are an international organization, it is important that you are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level.
