Job summary

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S, based at Plant Aalborg, seeks a Team Lead for Operational Excellence to guide a 13-person OE team. You will set direction for performance management, WPMS deployment, and standardisation across manufacturing, balancing daily support with long-term capability development.

You will lead and coach specialists, drive Value Stream initiatives, and partner with production leadership to meet factory priorities while expanding the career growth of your team.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial engineering with solid experience in Operational Excellence and Lean in a production environment.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience and track record of developing specialists and leading cross-functional improvement teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, performance management, flow, and shopfloor execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of OE professionals, setting objectives and ensuring delivery and measurable benefits.
• Own deployment, governance, and sustainment of WPMS across the Aalborg manufacturing area, including maturity tracking and standardisation.
• Establish and sustain performance management standards, KPI routines, and visual management.
• Allocate team capacity across daily performance support, industrial engineering, and long-term OE development.
• Drive flow improvement, bottleneck analysis, Value Stream Mapping and design in alignment with production leadership.
• Ensure improvement ideas are translated into structured plans with ownership and measurable impact.
