Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking a Head of Equipment Engineering within Offshore Execution Equipment. You will lead a global team focused on developing, sourcing, and improving equipment essential for installing offshore wind turbines.

Your leadership will drive uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement across projects. The role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers and partners, leading change, and ensuring high quality in complex, dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant leadership experience in a technical, global environment.
• Strong track record in equipment engineering, reliability, maintenance, or lifecycle management.
• Experience applying structured quality processes, preferably APQP4Wind.
• Proven ability to collaborate with external partners and suppliers; Systems Engineering understanding.
• Proven interpersonal and change management skills; capable of leading change in uncertain environments with a focus on quality.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant leadership experience in a technical and global environment.
• A strong track record in equipment engineering, reliability, maintenance, or lifecycle management.
• Experience in applying structured quality processes, preferably APQP4Wind.
• A proven ability to collaborate with external partners and suppliers, ideally backed by a solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
• Proven interpersonal and change management skills, with a strong ability to navigate organizational change and foster collaboration while introducing new ways of working in uncertain environments, all with a focus on quality.

The Equipment Engineering team is part of the Offshore Execution Equipment group, focusing on developing, sourcing, maintaining, and continuously improving the equipment necessary for offshore wind turbine installations. Our equipment is critical for both installation projects and service operations, with uptime being essential to avoid project delays.
